[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 박형준 부산시장은 민주당 특위 ‘부화수행’의 주장에 대해 "치졸한 정치공세 중단하라"면서 "부산시가 계엄 철회를 가장 먼저 요구했다”라고 입장을 밝혔다.
최근 더불어민주당 내란특검대응특별위원회는 부산시가 내란 세력 지침에 동조하여 청사를 폐쇄하는 등 ‘부화수행’을 했다고 주장했다.
이에 대해 박형준 시장은 "이는 전혀 사실이 아니다"라며 "저는 비상계엄 선포 직후인 2024년 12월 4일 00:00경 긴급 간부회의를 주재하고, 같은 날 00:45경 '비상계엄은 즉각 철회되어야 한다'는 입장을 발표했다. 부화수행과 계엄 즉각 철회는 본질적으로 서로 양립할 수 없는 행위"라고 반박했다,
청사 폐쇄 관련 사실관계에 대해 부산시는 "민주당 특위는 부산시가 2024년 12월 3일 오후 11시 20분 청사 폐쇄 사실을 뒤늦게 인정했다고 주장했다"면서 "그러나 부산시는 국회의원 요구자료에 당시 사실을 일관되게 밝혀왔으며, 입장을 번복한 적이 전혀 없다"라고 강조했다.
행안부 지시 시각 관련해 부산시는 "특위는 행안부가 12월 4일 00:40~00:50경에야 지자체에 청사 폐쇄 지시를 내렸다고 주장했다"면서 "실제로는 12월 3일 오후 11:15경, 행안부 운영지원과 A주무관이 부산시 당직담당관에게 청사 폐쇄 지시를 전달했다. 이는 당시 행안부 관계자 확인만으로도 쉽게 확인 가능한 사실"이라고 부인했다.
부산시에 따르면, 박형준 시장의 구체적 조치에 대해 ▲23:10경 긴급간부회의 소집, ▲23:30경 이동 중 차량 안에서 시민 불안 해소 메시지 발표, ▲23:40~23:50경 시청 도착 후 기자 출입 허용 등 불필요한 통제 해제, ▲00:00경 긴급 간부회의 주재, ▲0:45경 입장문을 통해 “비상계엄 즉각 철회"요구 등을 했다며 이 모든 과정은 다수 언론 보도를 통해 확인할 수 있다"라고 근거를 밝혔다.
그러면서 부산시는 "민주당 특위의 주장은 사실관계와 전혀 맞지 않는 치졸한 정치공세이며, 즉각 멈추기를 강력히 요구한다. 부산시는 비상계엄 상황에서 단 한 번도 시민의 기본권을 제약하거나 계엄에 동조한 사실이 없다. 오히려 부산시는 혼란을 최소화하고 시민 안전을 지키기 위해 즉각 대응했으며, 지방자치단체 중 최초로 계엄 철회를 공식 요구했다"고 했다.
박형준 시장은 "부화수행이라는 주장은 부산시의 실제 대응과 정면으로 배치되며, 이는 사실을 왜곡해 부산시와 부산시민들의 명예를 훼손하는 정치공세"라며 "더불어민주당은 허위 주장을 반복하며 정치적 공격에만 몰두할 것이 아니라, 정확한 사실에 기초한 책임 있는 자세를 보여야 한다. 저와 부산시는 앞으로도 어떠한 위기 상황에서도 시민 안전과 자유, 그리고 민주주의 수호를 최우선으로 하겠다. 정치적 공세에 휘둘리지 않고 부산발전을 위한 시정을 흔들림 없이 수행해 나가겠다."라고 결기를 다졌다.
