【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(이사장 배광식)이 ‘대현도서관 개관 10주년 기념 행사 및 제2회 웹툰 페스타’를 개최한다고 13일 밝혔다.
오는 18일 ‘웹툰은 지금, 도서관’을 주제로 열리는 이번 행사는 지역 주민이 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제로 꾸며진다.
오전 11시부터는 드로잉 매직과 단체 최면술로 구성된 패밀리 매직쇼, ‘5인 앙상블 클래식’의 지브리 영화음악 콘서트가 분위기를 돋운다.
오후 1시부터는 ‘샤크’의 김우섭 작가가 참여하는 드로잉 & 토크, 대현도서관 10년의 발자취 영상 상영, 웹툰 공모전 및 ‘책 읽는 가족’ 시상식이 이어진다.
다양한 전시와 체험 프로그램도 마련된다. 도서관 1층 로비에서는 지난 10년의 이야기를 담은 디지털 사진전이 열리고, 앞마당에서는 웹툰 공모전 수상작 전시와 캐리커처, 코스튬 체험, 웹툰 BGM 공작소(with AI), AR 책 카드 만들기 등 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 체험 부스가 운영된다.
또한 캐릭터 코스프레와 스탬프 투어가 진행되며, 드로잉 월과 포토존에서는 주민들이 직접 축하 메시지를 남기고 인기 캐릭터 ‘정년이’와 ‘샤크’와 사진을 찍을 수 있다.
특히 웹툰 ‘정년이’의 원작자 서이레 작가가 ‘어떤 사람이 작가가 될까요?’를 주제로 강연을 열어 예비 작가들에게 진솔한 이야기를 들려줄 예정이다. 강연은 사전 신청자에 한해 참여할 수 있다.
대현도서관 관계자는 “개관 10주년을 주민들과 함께 축하할 수 있어 뜻깊다”며 “웹툰 특화 도서관답게 이번 페스타가 지역민에게 즐겁고 유익한 문화체험의 장이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Starting at 1:00 PM, a drawing and talk featuring "Shark" author Kim Woo-seop will be held, followed by a video screening highlighting the library's 10-year history, a webtoon contest, and the "Reading Family" awards ceremony.
Various exhibitions and hands-on programs will also be offered. The library's first-floor lobby will feature a digital photo exhibition chronicling the past decade. The front yard will feature an exhibition of winning webtoon contest entries, caricature drawing, costume experiences, a webtoon BGM workshop (with AI), and AR book card making, all of which the whole family can enjoy.
Character cosplay and stamp tours will also be available. Residents can leave congratulatory messages and take photos with popular characters "Jeongnyeon" and "Shark" at the drawing wall and photo zone.
Notably, Seo I-re, the original creator of the webtoon "Jeongnyeon," will give a lecture on the topic "What kind of person becomes a writer?", offering insightful insights to aspiring writers. Pre-registration is required for the lecture.
A Daehyun Library representative stated, "It is meaningful to be able to celebrate our 10th anniversary with our residents. As a library specializing in webtoons, we hope this festival will be a fun and informative cultural experience for local residents."
