[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시 반여농산물도매시장관리사업소는 농림축산식품부가 주관한 ‘2024년도 전국 31개 공영도매시장 운영실적 중앙평가’에서 전국 2위로 ‘우수’ 도매시장에 선정됐다고 7일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 도매시장의 운영 개선과 유통 주체의 경영개선 노력을 통해 전국 공영도매시장의 발전 방향을 모색하기 위해 매년 실시된다.
평가 항목 및 성과
평가 항목은 ▲경영개선 및 운영 효율화 노력 ▲공익적 역할 확대 노력 ▲물류 효율화 ▲정가·수의매매 활성화 ▲중도매인 육성지도 ▲시설운영 관리 노력 등 총 12개 분야로, 도매시장 운영 전반을 종합적으로 심사했다.
특히 반여농산물도매시장은 농협반여공판장, 부산중앙청과㈜, 동부청과㈜, 양념류정산조합, 상가동협동조합 등 유통종사자와 함께 ‘사랑의 김장배추 나눔 행사’를 개최해 김장배추 9천 포기를 해운대구 사회복지관 10곳과 기장군 적십자·새마을부녀회를 통해 어려운 이웃에게 지원하며 나눔문화 확산에 기여한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
시설현대화 혜택 및 도매법인 성과
‘우수’ 평가를 받은 반여농산물도매시장은 향후 도매시장 시설현대화 평가 시 가점 등의 혜택을 받게 된다. 한편, 도매시장법인 부문에서는 ‘반여도매시장 동부청과㈜’가 ‘우수’ 도매법인으로 선정돼 지역 유통산업의 경쟁력 강화에 기여한 점이 인정받았다.

The Ban-yeo Agricultural Wholesale Market Management Office in Busan announced that the market has been recognized as an “Excellent” wholesale market, ranking second nationwide in the 2024 Central Evaluation of Public Wholesale Market Operations conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
The ministry carries out the evaluation each year to encourage improvements in market operations, management practices, and the overall distribution system at public wholesale markets across the country.
Evaluation categories cover twelve key areas, including efforts for management and operational efficiency, expansion of public service roles, logistics streamlining, activation of fixed-price and negotiated transactions, training and guidance for intermediate wholesalers, and facility operation management.
In particular, Ban-yeo Agricultural Wholesale Market was commended for its strong community engagement, co-hosting the “Kimchi Cabbage Sharing Event” with local distributors and cooperatives such as the Nonghyup Ban-yeo Auction House, Busan Jungang Fresh Produce Co., Ltd., Dongbu Cheonggwa Co., Ltd., the Spice Settlement Cooperative, and the Shopping Complex Cooperative. The event donated 9,000 heads of cabbage to ten welfare centers in Haeundae District and to neighbors in need through the Gijang Red Cross and Saemaeul Women’s Association, spreading the spirit of community sharing.
