[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 국립창원대학교(총장 박민원)와 한국전기연구원(KERI, 원장 김남균)이 기존의 산학연 협력 모델을 뛰어넘는 '지산학연 협력 네트워크 협의회'를 공동 개최하며, 정부의 ‘부처 간 벽허물기’ 정책 기조를 지역에서 선도적으로 실현하고 있다.
양 기관은 14일 한국전기연구원 스마트이노베이션센터에서 개최된 이번 협의회를 통해, 공동 R&D와 지역 인재 양성을 융합한 '지역 선순환 혁신 생태계' 구축에 본격적으로 나선다고 밝혔다.

국립창원대 조영태 글로컬사업단장은 “대학, 정출연, 지자체, 산업체가 긴밀히 협력하여 지역이 주도하는 글로컬 혁신 생태계 모델을 구현하는 것이 이번 협의회의 궁극적 목표”라며, “국립창원대 글로컬대학사업단은 지역 특성화산업과 연계한 DNA+ 기반의 인재 양성과 기술 혁신 허브로서 역할을 강화해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
