고양특례시 일산동구 고봉동 새마을부녀회는 지난 13일과 14일 이틀간 ‘사랑의 김장 나눔’ 행사를 개최했다.

이 자리에는 새마을부녀회를 비롯한 여러 직능단체 회원 40여 명이 참석해 배추 300포기로 김장 김치를 담갔다.
담근 김치는 독거노인 등 도움이 필요한 소외계층 80여 가구에 직접 전달됐다.
강다현 고봉동 새마을부녀회장은 “김장 나눔 행사는 소외된 이웃들에게 따뜻한 마음을 전하는 뜻깊은 시간”이라며 “이웃 간 정이 넘치는 고봉동을 만들기 위해 고봉동 주민자치회, 통장협의회, 새마을지도자협의회 등과 함께 힘써준 모든 분들에게 감사하다”고 말했다.
차형수 고봉동장은 “쌀쌀한 날씨에도 매년 성심껏 김치를 담가 나눔을 실천하는 새마을부녀회와 행사 참여자들에게 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 소외계층을 위한 나눔문화가 더욱 활성화되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
