고양특례시는 미세먼지 저감과 시민 건강 보호를 위해 ‘제7차 미세먼지 계절관리제’를 오는 12월부터 내년 3월까지 시행한다고 밝혔다.

미세먼지 계절관리제는 ⌜미세먼지법⌟에 근거해 매년 미세먼지 고농도 시기(12~3월)에 평소보다 강화된 배출량 저감 조치를 실시하는 집중 관리 대책으로, 2019년 12월부터 추진된 정부 정책이다.
이번 계절관리제 기간에는 배출가스 5등급 차량에 대해 평일 오전 6시부터 오후 9시까지 운행이 제한된다.
단속카메라에 적발될 경우 하루 10만 원의 과태료가 부과되며 주말과 공휴일은 운행 제한에서 제외된다.
다만, 저감장치가 부착된 차량, 긴급자동차, 장애인 및 국가유공자 차량, 저감장치 부착 불가 차량 중 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 소상공인 차량 등은 과태료 부과 대상에서 제외된다.
