고양특례시 덕양구는 지난 11월 17일부터 19일까지 관내 660㎡ 이상 대형 기타식품판매업소를 대상으로 위생용품 표시사항 점검 및 수거검사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 제품별 표시기준 준수 여부와 원료, 성분, 효과 등의 허위·과장 광고 여부, 소비자 기만 가능성이 있는 표시 광고를 중점 확인했다.
특히 어린이용 기저귀, 세척제, 미용 화장지 등 주요 위생용품을 수거해 기준 및 규격 적합 여부를 검사했으며 점검 결과 경미한 위반사항은 즉시 개선 조치했으며, 부적합 제품에 대해서는 압류 등 유통 차단 조치를 취했다.
덕양구 관계자는 "앞으로도 주민들의 일상생활과 밀접한 위생용품에 대해 지속적인 점검을 실시하여 구민들이 안심하고 사용할 수 있는 안전한 환경을 조성하겠다"고 말했다.
