【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청은 28일 구미코에서 ‘2025 경북 AI 교육 포럼’을 열고, AI 시대에 맞는 사람 중심의 교육 기준에 대해 논의했다.
학교 현장에서 곧바로 활용할 수 있는 AI 교육 방향을 모색하려는 취지다.
포럼의 주제는 ‘AI와의 동행, 사람을 중심에 두다’로, AI 기술이 수업과 생활지도에 빠르게 확산되는 가운데, 교사들이 지켜야 할 윤리 원칙과 학생들에게 길러줄 핵심 역량이 주요 논의 대상이 됐다.
경북교육청은 실천형 직무연수와 연계된 프로그램을 운영해, 교사들이 포럼에서 논의된 내용을 즉시 수업과 평가에 적용할 수 있도록 했다고 밝혔다.
행사는 기조연설과 주제 강연, 종합 토론 순으로 진행됐다. 조용민 언바운드랩데브 대표는 기조연설에서 ‘AI 시대 인재가 갖춰야 할 역량’을 강조하며 학교 교육의 방향성을 제시했다.
변순용 서울교육대학교 교수는 ‘생성형 AI 시대의 윤리와 리터러시’를 주제로 알고리즘 책임성과 교사의 실천 과제를 발표했다.
종합 토론에는 두 연사와 함께 손유경 물야중학교 교장, 학부모기자단 대표, 학생 대표가 참여했다. 참석자들은 교실, 가정, 지역사회에서 필요한 AI 교육 기준과 지원 방안 등에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
경북교육청은 이번 포럼을 계기로 AI 윤리에 기반한 수업 및 평가 모델을 정립하고, 학교 단위의 AI 사용 기준도 마련할 방침이다. 또 학생들이 책임감과 비판적 사고, 안전한 활용 역량을 기를 수 있도록 관련 연수를 강화할 계획이다.
임종식 경북교육감은 “AI 시대에는 기술 자체보다 윤리와 책임이 더 중요하다”며 “AI가 학생들의 학습과 일상에 자연스럽게 자리 잡는 만큼, 인간 중심의 가치가 흔들리지 않도록 교육 현장을 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Participants discussed AI education standards and support measures needed in classrooms, homes, and the community.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education plans to use this forum as an opportunity to establish AI ethics-based teaching and assessment models and establish school-level AI usage standards. It also plans to strengthen relevant training to foster students' sense of responsibility, critical thinking, and safe use.
Gyeongbuk Superintendent of Education Lim Jong-sik stated, "In the AI era, ethics and responsibility are more important than the technology itself. As AI becomes a natural part of students' learning and daily lives, we will actively support the educational field to ensure that human-centered values remain intact."
