창원특례시 농업기술센터는 2일, 센터 강당에서 관내 벼 재배 농업인, 지역농협 관계자, 읍·면·동 담당자 등 약 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 '2025년 식량작물분야 종합평가회'를 개최했다.

‘소규모 고령농가 공동육묘 지원사업’은 만 70세 이상의 고령 농업인을 대상으로 공동육묘장에서 생산한 건묘(健苗)를 지원하여 노동력 부담을 줄이고, ‘벼 드문모 심기 기술 확산 시범사업’은 벼를 드물게 심는 방식으로 재식밀도를 낮춰 병해충 확산을 예방하고 영농비용을 절감하는 생력재배 기술을 보급함으로써 안정적인 쌀 생산 기반을 확보해 나갈 계획이다.
한편, 시에서는 벼 육묘용 상토매트 및 육묘상자처리제 지원, 병해충 방제 농약과 대행료 지원사업 등 올해 24억2천8백만원의 사업비를 투입하여 농업인의 경영비 부담과 노동력을 줄이고, 고품질 쌀 생산과 소득 창출에 적극 기여했다.
