문형근 경기도의원, 제17차 경기 GPS 아동학대예방 세미나 참석

경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 문형근 위원장(더불어민주당, 안양3)이 지난 11월 27일 수원컨벤션센터에서 열린 ‘2025년 제17차 경기 GPS 아동학대예방 세미나’에서 아동학대 예방체계 전반의 보완 필요성을 강조했다. 문 위원장은 아동학대 문제는 개인 가정의 문제가 아닌 사회 전체가 함께 해결해야 할 과제라며 인식 개선과 초기 개입의 중요성을 재차 언급했다.

이번 세미나는 ‘도민의 인식에서 전문가의 실천까지, 아동학대 예방의 길을 찾다’를 주제로 경기도여성가족재단, 경기도거점아동보호전문기관 등이 공동 개최했으며, 도내 아동학대 업무 관계자와 유관기관 종사자들이 참석해 현장의 현실과 과제를 논의했다.

문형근 위원장은 축사에서 “신고의무자 인식 부족과 법적 정의에 대한 이해 차이, 관찰자·피해부모·행위자 간 시각 차이 등으로 동일한 상황도 다르게 해석되는 문제가 있다”고 지적하며, “이러한 인식 격차는 예방과 초기 대응에 큰 장애 요인이 된다”고 말했다. 이어 “도민 대상 인식개선 교육 확대와 현장 전문가의 실천 기반 강화가 반드시 필요하다”고 강조했다.

또한 도의회 차원의 노력을 언급하며 “아동학대 예방교육 확대, 신고체계 실효성 강화, 시·군-경찰-아동보호전문기관 협력체계 구축을 위해 지속적으로 지원하고 있다”고 밝혀, 피해 아동 보호 환경 조성 의지를 드러냈다.

문형근 위원장은 “이번 세미나가 예방정책의 발전 방향을 모색하는 실질적인 논의의 장이 되길 바란다”며 “아동이 안전하고 행복하게 성장할 수 있는 경기도를 만들기 위해 끝까지 책임을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Moon Hyung-geun (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang 3), Chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Women, Family, and Lifelong Education Committee, emphasized the need to improve the overall child abuse prevention system at the "2025 17th Gyeonggi GPS Child Abuse Prevention Seminar" held at the Suwon Convention Center on November 27. Chairperson Moon reiterated the importance of raising awareness and early intervention, stating that child abuse is not a problem for individual families but a challenge that must be addressed by society as a whole.

The seminar, co-hosted by the Gyeonggi Foundation for Women and Family and the Gyeonggi Province Child Protection Agency, was themed "From Residents' Awareness to Expert Practice: Finding a Path to Child Abuse Prevention." Participants from child abuse prevention and related organizations in the province discussed the current state of affairs and challenges facing the field.
