【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 김은경 군 소득작목팀장이 농촌진흥청이 주관하는‘한국농업기술보급대상’ 시상식에서 최우수상을 받았다고 4일 밝혔다.
‘한국농업기술보급대상’은 전국 농촌진흥기관 소속 공무원 중 농업·농촌의 발전과 기술 보급에 크게 이바지한 인물을 선발하는 농촌진흥사업 분야 최고의 상이다.
1차 서류심사, 2차 현장평가, 3차 발표평가, 외부 공개 검증과 최종 전문가 심사위원회 등 엄격하고 공정한 심사를 거쳐 최종 수상자가 선정된다.
김은경 팀장은 △전국 유일 허니짱 멜론단지 조성 △충북권 최대 규모 중소형 수박단지 조성 △ 고품질 딸기 우량묘 생산단지 조성 △기존 하우스 활용 오이 ICT 스마트팜 도입 등 시설채소 분야에 당면한 과제 해결과 혁신적인 기술 보급으로 농가 소득 증대를 위해 힘써왔다.
또한, △2022년 멜론 △2023년 딸기 △2024년 중소형 수박 작목을 대상으로 최고품질 농산물 생산단지 경진대회에서 3년 연속 수상했으며, △2022년 수박 수직 재배 기술 △2025년 고온기 원예작물 온도 저감 기술 등 농업 기술 보급 혁신 경진대회에서 2회 수상하기도 했다.
이러한 공적들은 농업인들의 안정적인 농작물 생산을 도모해, 진천군 농업의 부가가치를 높이고, 지속가능한 농업 환경을 조성하는 데 크게 이바지했다는 평가를 받았다.
