【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군기업인협의회는 5일 지역 인재 발굴과 교육 환경 개선을 위해 (재)진천군장학회에 장학금 500만원을 기탁했다.
이번 기탁은 지역사회와의 상생, 미래세대 지원을 위한 기업인협의회의 사회공헌 활동의 하나로 진행됐다.
전달식에는 김명식 군 기업인협의회장과 임원진이 참석했다.
김명식 회장은 “지역 청소년들이 경제적 부담 없이 학업에 몰입하고 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 작은 힘을 보태고 싶다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회 발전을 위한 다양한 공헌 활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
송기섭 (재)진천군장학회 이사장은 “지역발전을 위해 꾸준히 관심과 지원을 보내주시는 군 기업인협의회에 감사드리며 전달받은 장학금은 학생들의 교육 기회 확대와 학업 지원에 소중히 사용하겠다”고 말했다.
