【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 ㈜엠알인프라오토는 진천군청을 방문해 체육발전기금과 문화 성금 2천만원을 기탁했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이날 기탁식에는 송기섭 진천군수를 비롯해 군 간부급 공무원, 김하영 진천군체육회장 등이 참석했다.
㈜엠알인프라오토는 지역사회 체육과 문화 발전을 위해 △체육 기금 1천 500만원 △문화 성금 500만원 등 총 2천만원을 전달했다.
기탁금은 군 체육 인프라 강화, 군민 문화 프로그램 확대 등 군민 행복 증진을 위한 사업에 활용될 예정이다.
㈜엠알인프라오토는 1986년에 설립된 자동차용 동력전달장치 제조기업으로 진천군 덕산읍 산수산업단지에 소재하고 있다.
2019년을 시작으로 매년 진천군에 기탁하고 있으며, 2024년에는 총 2천만원을 기탁하는 등 지속적이고 책임 있는 사회공헌 활동을 이어오고 있다.
함상식 대표는 “이번 기탁이 지역의 체육발전과 문화 활성화에 작은 도움이 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 진천군이 더 활기차고 풍요로운 도시로 성장할 수 있도록 기업이 가진 역량을 지역사회에 환원해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
