9일 군에 따르면, 증평군이 확보한 내년도 국·도비는 2026년도 본예산 기준 국비 821억 원, 도비 296억 원 등 총 1117억 원이다.
이는 전년 1103억 원에 비해 보다 1.2% 증가한 것으로, 역대 최대 규모다. 사업 수도 함께 증가했다.
2025년에는 622개였던 국도비 사업이 2026년 예산에는 642개로 20개 늘었다.
주요 추진 사업으로는 △장애인보호작업장 건립사업(22억 원) △스포츠 테마파크 조성사업(40억 원) △기후대응 도시숲 조성사업(15억 원) △공공임대형 지식산업센터 건립사업(31억 원) △증평읍 농촌중심지 활성화 사업(29억 원) △초중지구 풍수해 생활권 정비사업(30억 원) △도안2처리분구 하수관로 정비사업(38억 원) 등이 포함됐다.
또한 지역의 숙원이었던 윤모 아파트 정비가 포함된 농촌공간 정비사업도 4개 지구에 총 39억 원이 편성됐다.
교부세와 조정교부금을 합한 의존재원 역시 역대 최대치를 경신했다.
2025년 2153억 원에서 58억 원 늘어난 2211억 원이 2026년도 예산에 반영됐다.
군 관계자는 “한정된 재원으로 더 많은 사업들을 추진하기 위해서는 의존재원의 성장이 필수적”이라며 “지역의 발전을 위해 더 많은 예산을 확보할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
