군은 지역 외식업 환경의 질적 향상을 위해 올해 하반기 모범음식점 발굴·평가 절차를 진행했으며, 현장 점검과 진천군음식문화개선운동추진위원회 심의를 거쳐 모범음식점을 선정했다.
이번에 지정된 업소는 △광혜원소곱창(광혜원면·소곱창) △두촌염소탕(덕산읍·염소탕) △엄마밥집(진천읍·백반) △김사부(진천읍·마라탕) 등 4곳이다.
모범음식점은 위생관리 수준, 서비스 품질, 좋은 식단 실천 여부 등 다양한 지표를 기준으로 엄격하게 평가된다.
지정 업소에는 △상·하수도 요금 30% 감면 △지정증, 현판 제공 △군 홈페이지 홍보 △각종 위생용품 지원 △시설개선 사업 가산점 부여 등의 혜택이 제공된다.
이선미 군 식산업자원과은 “모범음식점으로 선정된 업소들이 진천군의 맛과 위생 수준을 높이는 데 중심적 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다”며 “군민과 방문객이 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 외식환경 구축을 위해 행정적 지원을 지속하겠다”고 밝혔다.
