이재명 대통령이 오는 1월 4~7일까지 3박 4일 일정으로 중국을 국빈 방문해 시진핑 주석과 정상회담을 갖는다. 한국 대통령의 중국 국빈 방문은 지난 2017년 문재인 전 대통령 이후 약 9년 만이다.
청와대는 30일 "이재명 대통령은 시진핑 중국 국가주석 초청으로 1월 4일부터 7일까지 3박 4일간 중국을 국빈 방문한다"며 이같이 전했다.
이 대통령은 오는 1월 4일부터 6일까지 베이징에서 시 주석과 정상회담·국빈만찬을 가진 후 상하이로 이동해 1박 2일 일정을 소화한다.
강유정 대변인은 "양 정상은 APEC 정상회의 이후 두 달 여 만에 다시 만나 한·중 전략적 협력 동반자 관계의 전면 복원 흐름을 공고히 할 예정"이라며 "공급망 투자·디지털 경제·초국가범죄 대응·환경 등 양국 국민 민생에 실질 기여하는 구체적 성과를 거양하기 위한 방안을 논의 예정"이라고 전했다.
또 "상하이에서 2026년 백범 김구 선생 탄생 150주년이자 상하이 대한민국 임시정부 청사 100주년을 맞아 역사적 의미를 되돌아볼 것"이라며 "앞으로 한·중 간 미래 협력을 선도할 벤처·스타트업 분야에서 양국 기업 간 파트너십 촉진 일정을 가질 예정"이라고 전했다.
이어 "정확한 의제는 구체적으로 말할 수 없으나 경제 협력 기회를 확대하고 상호 협력 관계 안에서 정세를 논하는 자리가 될 것"이라고 전했다.
