【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 2026년 농식품바우처 지원사업의 지원 대상을 기존 취약계층에서 만 34세 이하 청년이 포함된 가구까지로 확대한다.

중구청은 올해 1월부터 12월까지 농식품바우처 지원사업을 연중 진행하고, 신청 마감일은 12월 11일로 정했다. 농식품바우처는 신선 농식품 구매를 지원해 취약계층의 식생활을 돕고, 동시에 지역 농산물 소비를 늘리기 위한 사업으로 알려져 있다.

지원은 카드형 바우처로 지급된다. 지정된 신선 농식품에 한해 사용할 수 있으며, 가구원 수에 따라 월 4만 원에서 최대 18만7천 원까지 차등 지급된다. 국산 과일과 채소, 육류, 잡곡, 두부, 흰우유, 임산물 등이 지원 품목에 포함된다. 단, 가공식품이나 외식비 등은 사용할 수 없다.

바우처 사용처는 농림축산식품부가 지정한 소매점으로 제한된다. 세부 매장과 품목은 사업 홈페이지에서 확인 가능하다.

기존 이용 가구는 자격 요건만 충족하면 별도 재신청 없이 자동으로 신청이 처리된다. 다만, 세부 기준은 공고문을 통해 확인해야 한다. 새로 대상에 포함된 청년 가구는 별도로 신청해야 하며, 가족 구성과 소득 등 자세한 기준은 사업 누리집과 중구청 공고를 통해 안내된다.

류규하 중구청장은 “농식품바우처 사업은 취약계층의 건강한 식생활을 돕는 동시에 지역 농산물 소비 활성화에도 의미가 있다”며 “구민이 일상 속에서 균형 잡힌 식생활을 할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

중구청은 이번 지원 확대가 청년 가구의 식생활 부담을 줄이고 지역 정주 여건 개선에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 구는 사업 진행 과정과 이용 현황을 지속적으로 점검해 주민이 체감할 수 있는 정책을 추진한다는 방침이다.
