【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 지역 산업 수요에 맞춘 인재 양성 체계를 구축하며 지·산·학 협력 강화에 나섰다.
군은 11일 벨포레리조트에서 증평공업고등학교, 충북비즈니스고등학교, 증평군기업인협회, 국립한국교통대학교 RISE사업단과 함께 지역 취업 및 진학 확대를 위한 지·산·학 협력 협약을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 증평군 교육발전특구 사업과 충북 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업을 연계해 지역 인재 양성 체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.
고교·대학·기업·지자체가 참여하는 협력 거버넌스를 통해 지역 산업과 교육을 연계하는 것이 핵심이다.
앞서 지난 5일에는 기업인협회와 증평공고, 충북비즈니스고가 ‘지역 정주 미래기술 인력 양성을 위한 업무협약’을 체결하며 산학 협력 기반을 마련한 바 있다.
이번 협약을 통해 기존 산학 협력에 지자체 정책과 대학의 교육·연구 역량이 더해지면서 협력 범위가 지·산·학 협력 체계로 확대됐다.
협약에 따라 각 기관은 △고교생 진로·취업 멘토링 △기업 탐방 및 직무교육 △방학 기간 현장실습 △취업·진학 연계 프로그램 등을 공동 추진한다.
군은 교육발전특구 사업을 기반으로 AI·디지털 교육과 산업 맞춤형 교육을 확대하고, RISE 사업과 연계한 지역 혁신 교육 모델을 통해 지역 인재가 지역에서 성장하고 정착하는 기반을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “교육발전특구와 RISE 사업을 기반으로 학교·대학·기업·지자체가 함께 참여하는 협력 체계를 구축하게 됐다”며 “지역 산업과 교육을 연결해 지역 청년이 지역에서 성장하고 정착할 수 있는 기반을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
