【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교 이차전지혁신융합대학 컨소시엄 사업단이 차세대 이차전지 인재 양성을 위한 ‘CBNU-COSS 4기 서포터즈’를 출범했다.
충북대는 지난 11일 오후 5시 이차전지혁신융합대학 사업단 회의실에서 ‘2026년도 CBNU-COSS 4기 서포터즈 발대식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에서는 서류심사와 면접을 거쳐 선발된 서포터즈 8명에게 위촉장을 수여하고, 서포터즈의 역할과 향후 활동 계획을 공유하는 시간을 가졌다. 또한 서포터즈 간 네트워킹을 강화하고 협업을 도모하기 위한 프로그램도 진행됐다.
올해 CBNU-COSS 4기 서포터즈로는 김준우(경영학부 2학년), 김태현(토목공학부 3학년), 박철민(특용식물학과 4학년), 백민재(공업화학과 3학년), 송희원(지능로봇공학과 4학년), 신현호(신소재공학과 3학년), 위하람(신소재공학과 4학년), 정여원(소프트웨어학부 2학년) 등 총 8명이 최종 선발됐다.
서포터즈들은 앞으로 사업단의 주요 성과를 알리고 교과 및 비교과 프로그램을 홍보하는 활동을 수행할 예정이다. 또한 재학생들에게 다양한 교육 및 참여 기회를 소개하고 참여를 유도해 이차전지 분야 교육과 연구 활동에 대한 관심을 높일 계획이다.
정상문 이차전지혁신융합대학 사업단 총괄단장은 “서포터즈 학생들의 열정과 노력이 사업단과 시너지를 이루길 기대한다”며 “새로운 아이디어를 공유하며 함께 성장해 나가길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 이차전지혁신융합대학 컨소시엄 사업(COSS)은 교육부와 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 2023년 6월부터 운영되고 있다. 충북대를 비롯한 5개 대학과 충청북도, 청주시, 부산광역시, 인천광역시 등이 협력해 이차전지 분야 국가 인재 양성을 위한 교육 및 연구 프로그램을 추진하고 있다.
