<브레이크뉴스 가평 = 이용하 기자> 가평군 조종면 지역사회보장협의체(이하 지사협)가 지역 내 소외된 이웃들의 건강한 식생활을 돕고 따뜻한 온기를 전하기 위해 팔을 걷어붙였다.
조종면 지사협은 지난 13일 지역 특화사업의 일환으로 경기도사회복지공동모금회 모금액을 활용한 '영양가득 반찬나눔사업'을 본격 추진했다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 관내 저소득 취약계층 16가구를 엄선해 매월 1회 정기적으로 진행되는 생활 밀착형 복지 서비스다. 지사협 위원들이 손수 마련한 반찬을 들고 각 가정을 직접 방문하여 전달하는 것은 물론, 홀로 지내는 이웃들의 안부까지 세심하게 살피며 정서적 지지망 역할까지 톡톡히 해내고 있다.
특히 거동이 불편해 식사 준비에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있는 독거노인과 장애인 가구를 집중 대상으로 삼아, 맞춤형 영양 식단을 제공함으로써 실질적인 건강 증진을 도모하는 데 주안점을 뒀다.
이현숙 지사협 위원장은 "지역 내 어려운 이웃들에게 위원들의 정성이 담긴 따뜻한 한 끼를 대접할 수 있어 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다"며 "앞으로도 조종면 지사협이 구심점이 되어 복지 사각지대에 놓인 취약계층을 발굴하고, 다채로운 나눔 활동을 뚝심 있게 이어나가겠다"고 다짐했다.
