해양수산정책특별보좌역으로 위촉된 양준혁 특보는 삼성 라이온즈 시절 타격왕 4회, 골든글러브 8회 수상 등 한국 프로야구를 대표하는 선수로 활약했다. 은퇴 후에는 야구재단을 통한 사회공헌 활동과 함께 포항 구룡포에서 양식장을 운영하며 현장 경험을 쌓아왔으며, 이를 바탕으로 경북 동해안 해양수산 산업의 현대화 전략을 자문할 예정이다.
