[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시와 해군이 공동 주최하는 ‘2026 이순신방위산업전(YIDEX)’이 1일 해군사관학교와 진해 군항 일대에서 화려한 막을 올렸다.
올해로 5회째를 맞이한 이번 행사는 창원의 제조 역량과 해군의 실전 인프라가 만난 역대급 규모로, 글로벌 방산 시장의 이목을 집중시키는 ‘K-방산의 전략적 요충지’로서의 위상을 과시했다.
이번 행사는 창원특례시와 해군사관학교, 해군군수사령부가 공동주최하고 창원산업진흥원이 주관하며, 개막식에는 장금용 창원특례시장 권한대행과 김경률 해군참모총장을 비롯해 박규백 해군사관학교장, 김경철 해군군수사령관, 곽광섭 해군작전사령관 직무대리 등 해군 주요 인사, 국내·외 방산기업 관계자와 주한외국무관단 등 방위산업 관련 인사들이 참석한다.
개막식은 해군 군악대의 웅장한 연주와 공군 블랙이글스의 화려한 에어쇼로 시작됐다.
