이번 평가는 개방·활용, 품질, 분석·활용, 공유, 관리체계 등 5개 영역과 18개 세부 지표를 기준으로 기관별 성과를 종합적으로 평가하는 방식으로 진행됐다. 한국장학재단은 주요 지표 전반에서 높은 점수를 기록하며 공공데이터 분야 6년 연속, 데이터기반행정 분야 4년 연속 우수 등급을 유지했다.
세부적으로 공공데이터 제공 분야에서 93.025점, 데이터기반행정 분야에서 90.17점을 기록해 각각 전체 기관 평균(공공데이터 67.6점, 데이터기반행정 66.1점)을 크게 상회했다.
공공데이터 제공 분야에서는 민간의 데이터 활용 성과와 활용도 제고 노력, 품질 및 관리체계 측면에서 높은 평가를 받았으며, 특히 품질과 관리체계 영역에서 만점을 기록했다. 데이터기반행정 분야에서는 전 직원 대상 교육과 전문가 양성 등 AI·데이터 기반 조직문화 정착과 추진 기반 구축 노력이 긍정적으로 평가됐다.
박창달 이사장은 “지속적인 우수 등급 달성은 대국민 서비스 품질 향상과 데이터 관리체계 고도화를 위한 노력의 결과”라며 “정부의 AI 기반 공공서비스 혁신 기조에 맞춰 공공데이터 개방 확대와 데이터기반행정 활성화에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Korea Scholarship Foundation achieved an ‘Excellent’ rating in both the ‘2025 Evaluation of Public Data Provision Operations’ and the ‘2025 Status Check of Data-Based Administration,’ conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The evaluation was conducted by comprehensively assessing the performance of each institution based on 18 detailed indicators across five areas: openness and utilization, quality, analysis and utilization, sharing, and management systems. By recording high scores across major indicators, the Korea Scholarship Foundation maintained an ‘Excellent’ rating for six consecutive years in the public data sector and for four consecutive years in the data-based administration sector.
Specifically, the Foundation scored 93.025 points in the public data provision sector and 90.17 points in the data-based administration sector, significantly exceeding the overall average for all institutions (67.6 points for public data and 66.1 points for data-based administration).
