22일(현지시간) 한·베트남 간 하노이 정상회담 계기로 원전 개발·전력 인프라 등 분야에서 양국 간 협력 강화 차원의 12건 MOU(양해각서)가 체결됐다.
청와대에 따르면 이날 오후 하노이 주석궁에서 열린 이재명 대통령·또 럼 베트남 공산당 서기장 겸 국가주석 간 정상회담 계기로 양국은 향후 다양한 분야 협력을 강화해 나가기로 한 가운데 양 정상은 회담 후 MOU 교환식·공동 언론 발표를 가졌다.
내용을 보면 한국전력공사·베트남 국가산업에너지공사 간 '원전 개발 협력 가능성 검토 관련 MOU'가 체결되면서 양국은 향후 신규 원전 건설 방안·원전 건설 리스크 공동 분석 등에 협력해 나가기로 했다.
