아시아 호텔 아트페어(AHAF 2021) 부산에서 열린다!
코로나19 재난에도 대성황을 이루어낸 부산 아트페어에 이어 아시아 호텔 아트페어(AHAF 2021)가 오늘 6월 17일(목) 오픈되어 20일(일)까지 4일간 열린다.
부산 해운대에 소재한 특급호텔 파크 하얏트호텔 50여 객실과 연회장에서 열리는 아시아호텔아트페어에는 국내의 주요 화랑 갤러리 미즈, 가나아트, 리안갤러리, 갤러리 BHAK, 서정아트센터, 유엠갤러리, 전갤러리, 동산방화랑 등이 참가한다. 또한, 일본 아라이갤러리, 중국 양훙갤러리, 미국 미즈마&킵스 갤러리, BCS갤러리와 같은 해외 갤러리도 참가 한다.
2008년 일본 뉴오타니호텔에서 처음 시작되어 서울과 홍콩 등지에서 열려온 아시아 호텔 아트페어 부산 개최는 지난 2019년에 이어 두 번째다. 아시아호텔아트페어는 호텔 1층에 위치한 연회장(Salon5)에서 다양한 특별전이 열린다, 대표적인 특별전 마스터피스(Masterpiece)전에는 한국을 대표하는 이우환, 박서보, 김종학, 윤형근, 윤명로 작가 작품과 세계 현대미술을 대표하는 데이비드 호크니(David Hockney), 로버트 라우센버그(Robert Rauschenberg), 요르그 임멘도르프(Jorg Immendorf), 로즈마리 트로켈(Rosemarie Trockel), 짐 다인(Jim Dine) 작가의 작품이 전시된다.

한국 현대미술 최초 행위 예술가이며 테크놀로지 아티스트인 故 강국진의 예술세계를 살필 수 있는 다양한 소품 20여 점이 전시되는 (Kang Kukjin Homage–소품전)도 열린다. 이어 부산 지역 풍경과 상징적인 명소를 소재로 부산의 다양한 이야기를 헤아린 부산 지역 활동 사진작가 고려명, 송준호, 안준, 이경옥, 주도양 등의 작품이 전시되는 특별전 (부산 인 마이 마인드) 전이 함께 한다. 예술경영지원센터의 후원으로 참신한 신예작가 작품들이 소개되는 젊은 작가 특별전(AHAF Busan Young Artists)도 열린다.
이와 함께 국내 1세대 화랑 설립자인 동산방화랑 故 박주환 회장의 컬렉션 (한국 민화 특별전)이 열린다. 이어 아시아 호텔 아트페어 공식 홍보대사이며 예술 감독 겸 작가인 한젬마가 기획한 특별전 (한젬마와 천재 아티스트) 전시는 부산에서 활동하는 발달 장애 예술가 7명(박재영 신현채 심승보 윤진석 임이전 조태성 황성제)과 함께 부자유한 장애 속에서 천재성을 담은 예술세계에 녹아내린 승화된 감성을 느낄 수 있다. 또한, 가람 건축 후원으로 이소자키 아라타(Isozaki Arata), 류춘수, 김기연, 최윤식, 이종민, 김성준 등 국내외 건축가들의 드로잉 작품이 전시되는 '건축 드로잉' 전도 주목할 전시이다.
이번 아시아 호텔아트페어는 같은 기간 개최하는 ‘부산디자인위크’와 협업하여 벡스코 제2 전시장에도 17개 부스의 갤러리 관을 열어 셔틀버스를 운영한다.

미술 전문 잡지 미술세계 기자 출신으로 1997년 화랑계에 뛰어들어 저널리스트의 탁월한 감각으로 작품의 완성도와 비전을 제시하는 작가들과 동행하여온 갤러리 미즈 정종현 관장은 이번 아시아 호텔 아트페어 참가에 대하여 “지난 부산 아트페어 참가에서 여태껏 경험하지 못한 뜨거운 반응에 놀라웠다”라면서 특히 작품 구매자의 연령대가 두드러지게 젊은 세대로 변화된 사실은 제2 도시 부산의 변화를 의미하는 것이라고 덧붙였다.
갤러리 미즈는 이번 아시아 호텔 아트페어에 인기 작가 이우환, 이왈종 판화작품과 함께 지난 부산아트페어에서 모든 작품을 솔드아웃(soldout) 시켜 국내,외 화랑이 주목한 제이영(J Young) 작가의 회화 작품을 선보인다. artwww@naver.com

The Asian Hotel Art Fair Busan, which first started in 2008 at New Otani Hotel in Japan and has been held in Seoul and Hong Kong, is the second after 2019. A variety of special exhibitions are held at the Asia Hotel Art Fair in the banquet hall (Salon 5) located on the first floor of the hotel. The first performance artist and technology artist in Korea, Kuk-Jin Kang, who is the first performance artist in Korea, will also be holding an exhibition of about 20 various props (Kang Kukjin Homage – props exhibition). Next, there will be a special exhibition (Busan in My Mind), featuring works by local photographers Goryeomyeong, Song Junho, Ahn Jun, Lee Kyungok, and Juyang Ju, who have studied various stories of Busan using Busan’s local landscape and symbolic landmarks. A special exhibition of young artists (AHAF Busan Young Artists) will be held with the support of the Arts Management Support Center, where novel and up-and-coming artists are introduced.
At the same time, the collection of the late Chairman Park Joo-hwan of Dongsanbang Gallery, the founder of the first-generation art gallery in Korea (special exhibition of Korean folk paintings), will be held. Next, the special exhibition (Han Gemma and the Genius Artist), organized by Han Gemma, the official ambassador for the Asia Hotel Art Fair, and an artistic director and writer, was held together with 7 artists with developmental disabilities in Busan (Jaeyoung Park, Hyunchae Shin, Seungbo Shim Seungbo Yoon, Jinseok Im Yijeon, Taeseong Hwang Seongje) You can feel the sublimated sensibility melted into the art world with genius amidst obstacles.
