대구사이버대 임지향 교수, 보건복지부 장관 감사장 수여

대구사이버대학교 미술치료학과 임지향 교수가 전화 심리상담 재능기부를 통해 보건복지부 장관 감사장을 수여했다.

임지향 교수는 평소 어려움을 겪고 있는 이들을 위해 전화 심리상담을 통해 도움을 주고 이를 통한 국민 정신건강 증진에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 이번 감사장을 수여받았다.

임 교수는 그동안 지역사회에서의 다양한 봉사활동으로 대구시장상, 대구보훈청장상, 대구교도소장상 등을 수상하였으며 보건복지부 장관상 감사장은 2018년에 이어 두 번째 수상으로 알려진다.

임지향 교수는 "미술치료가 재난심리 상담뿐 아니라 지역 주민의 마음 건강 증진에 많은 도움이 됐으면 한다"며 "향후에도 지속적으로 관련 기관들과의 협력 체계를 구축해 소외된 지역민들의 마음건강 증진에 힘쓰겠다"고 말했다.
