김천대학교(윤옥현) 평생교육원이 제2기 김천시 3050리더스 대학 입학식을 개최했다.
지난 21일 대학본관 세미나실에서 열린 입학식은 김충섭 시장(김천시3050리더스대학 학장), 이우청 시의회 의장, 윤옥현 김천대학교 총장, 김순희 김천대학교 평생교육원장을 비롯하여 입학생 50여명이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.

경상북도 인재평생교육진흥원과 김천시 평생교육원이 주최하고 김천대학교 평생교육원이 주관하는 김천시 3050리더스 대학은 올해 2기 교육생 50명을 모집한 가운데 정원보다 많은 신청자가 몰리며 인기를 끌었다.
제2기 김천시 3050리더스 대학 교육은 3월부터 12월까지 1년과정 으로 운영되며, 여름방학 기간을 제외한 매주 화요일 저녁 7시부터 9시까지 2시간씩 총 30회로 교육이 진행된다.
경북학, 시민학, 미래학, 인문학, 사회·경제, 생활·환경, 문화·예술 등 7대 영역에 따른 공통·특화 과정으로 구성됐으며, 드론, 스킨스쿠버 등의 소규모 학습동아리활동도 지원할 예정이다.
또한 사회참여활동 및 70%이상 출석을 충족한 수료생에게는 명예도민학사 학위를 수여하며 우수학습자에 대해서는 표창을 수여할 예정이다.
입학식에 참석한 김충섭 김천시장은“3월 희망찬 봄기운과 함께 출발하는 김천시 3050리더스 대학을 통하여 지역의 미래발전에 함께할 리더로서 성장하며, 역량을 키워 주시길 바란다. 1년 교육기간 동안 건강하고 안전하게 수료하시길 바란다.”고 축사를 전했다.
