사업의 일환으로 진해구 속천항 빛거리 조성과 행암마을 친수공간 특화사업, 성산구 삼귀 해안도로 산책로 및 쿨링포그 조성사업을 완료하였고, 작년 10월부터 일부 개방한 3·15해양누리공원은 창원의 대표적인 랜드마크로 자리매김하고 있다.

관광객들이 많이 찾는 진해해양공원에는 퇴역 함정인 진해함을 전시하여 군항의 도시 창원 홍보 및 군함체험을 통한 안보의식 제고는 물론 다양한 볼거리를 제공할 예정으로, 올해말 내부 관람시설 및 부대시설 공사가 마무리되면 23년 군항제와 병행하여 관람객들에게 개방되어 진해해양공원 관광 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
