(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천의 미래를 만들어 갈 아이들을 찾는다.
부천문화재단(대표이사 김정환)이 오는 6월 7일까지 문화도시 아동위원회 ‘오아시스’(오직 아동들의 시선을 담은 스토리) 4기를 모집한다.
문화도시 아동위원회는 미래를 이끌어갈 아이들과 지역 문화정책을 고민하고 이들의 문화주체 성장을 돕는 문화도시 조성사업이다.
사업은 국제아동권리 비정부기구(NGO) 세이브더칠드런과 함께한다.
지원 조건은 부천에 거주하거나 재학 중인 2010~2012년생 아동이며, 선발 규모는 30명 내외다.
활동 내용은 ▲부천시 아동 관련 정책 전반에 대한 의견 제안 ▲정기회의, 포럼 등 자치 활동 참여 등이다.
선발되면 재단 대표이사와 세이브더칠드런 중부2지역 본부장 명의의 위촉장을 수여하며 발대식은 6월 중 추진할 예정이다.
신청 접수는 부천의 문화공론장 ‘도시플랫폼B’에서 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 뒤 같은 누리집을 통한 온라인 접수 또는 전자우편 발송하면 된다.
재단은 2019년부터 해마다 문화도시 아동위원회를 운영하고 있으며, 지난해까지 총 80명이 수료했다.
지난해는 기후위기와 아동권리 등을 주제로 활동을 펼치고, 아이들의 시선을 담은 정책제안문을 부천시에 전달하기도 했다.
한편, 부천시는 2019년 말 국가 지정 제1호 문화도시로 선정돼 다양한 문화도시 조성사업을 연중 추진하고 있다.
