(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 1호선 부천역에서 스마트도서관 3호 서비스를 시작한다.
부천 역곡역과 송내역에 위치하여 365일 간편한 도서 대출·반납으로 시민들의 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 스마트도서관이 오는 6월 29일부터 부천역에도 운영될 예정이다.
스마트도서관은 부천시 도서관 회원증 소지자라면 즉석에서 적재된 도서를 검색 후 원하는 도서를 간편하게 대출할 수 있는 생활밀착형 무인 작은도서관으로, 출퇴근길에 가볍게 읽을 수 있는 신간 및 베스트셀러 위주의 도서를 제공하고 있다.
부천역에 설치되는 스마트도서관은 약 450여 권이 넘는 신간 및 인기 도서를 보유하고 있으며, 1인당 3권의 도서를 14일간 대출할 수 있다.
아울러 도서반납함과 독서소독기를 함께 설치하여 부천역 스마트도서관을 이용하는 부천시민들이 안전하고 쾌적하게 서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 했다.
이재희 별빛마루도서관장은 “부천역 스마트도서관은 그동안 전철역사 내 지속적인 도서이용 편의 공간 확충 요청에 적극 대응한 결과”라면서 “앞으로도 걸어서 10분 내 독서 문화 공간을 조성하기 위해 힘쓸 것”이라고 말했다.
한편, 이번 부천역 스마트도서관 운영과 함께 그동안 부천역 민원센터에서 제공하던 상호대차서비스는 중단된다.
