[브레이크뉴스=정철규기자] 진주시는 27일 경남도청의 진주환원을 추진하는 시민운동단체인 ‘도청환원 진주시민 운동본부’임원진과 간담회를 가졌다.
이날 간담회는 조규일 진주시장이 밝힌 ‘경남 수부도시로서의 자존심 회복’이라는 청사진에 따라 도청 진주환원에 대한 시민 여론을 듣고 시민운동단체의 활동방향을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 시와 운동본부는 분기별 1회 이상 정기적으로 간담회를 갖기로 하고, 운동본부는 출향인사 영입, 거리 캠페인 등 시민운동을 이어나가기로 했다.
운동본부 측은 “도청 진주시대의 역사와 도청 진주환원 시민운동에 대한 선인들의 자료 기록화가 필요하다”며“진주시가 진주시민과 서부경남 도민들의 인식 제고를 위한 다큐멘터리 제작과 사진자료 수집에 힘써 달라”고 요청했다.
