6.25(1950-1953년) 전쟁 이후 대한민국의 종교(기독교계) 관련 산업은 나날이 번창해왔다. 가톨릭이 재산의 주체인 성모병원(서울 강남-서울 여의도), 개신교단이 주체인 연세대 의대(신촌 세브란스) 등이 거대규모의 의료산업체로 자리를 잡았다. 개신교단 일파인 여의도순복음교회의 재산은 여의도 매머드 교회, 지방의 기도원 등으로 가시화 됐다.
