한국문화예술회관연합회의 방방곡곡 문화공감 사업에 선정돼 인천문화예술회관, 서구문화회관, 부평아트센터, 남동소래아트홀 등 인천의 4개 문화예술회관과 인천에서 28년째 활동 중인 전문예술단체 극단 십년후가 공동으로 제작한 ‘올 더 웨이’는 각 기관이 가진 기획 노하우와 극단의 창작 역량을 바탕으로 완성한 공연이다.
1950대의 인천항을 배경으로 펼쳐지는 ‘올 더 웨이’는 전쟁과 가난 속에서도 피어났던 사랑과 꿈에 관한 이야기다.
‘연안부두’, ‘이별의 인천항’ 등 작품의 배경인 인천과 관련된 노래는 물론 ‘거리에서’, ‘젊음의 노트’, ‘님은 먼곳에’ 등 추억의 히트곡과 창작곡 ‘올 더 웨이’ 등 다양한 장르의 18곡의 넘버가 관객의 귀를 즐겁게 한다.
대중가요를 기반으로 한 주크박스 뮤지컬답게 세련된 편곡으로 5060세대는 물론 젊은 세대들의 취향도 만족시킬 것으로 기대된다.
대본 집필은 뮤지컬 ‘모래시계’, 영화 ‘헌트’의 제작에 참여하며 최근 가장 핫한 극작가로 유명해진 오세혁 작가가 맡았다.
