(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 최근 내년 한 해 동안 시민과 함께 읽을 ‘2023년 부천의 책’을 선정했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 2023년 부천시민과 함께 읽을 책은 일반분야 ‘지구 끝의 온실(김초엽, 자이언트북스)’, 아동분야 ‘기소영의 친구들(정은주, 사계절)’, 만화분야 ‘엄마들(마영신, 휴머니스트)’다.
부천시는 10월부터 시민공모와 관련 기관으로부터 총 592종 872권의 도서를 추천받아 도서선정위원회에서 일반, 아동, 만화 각 분야별 후보도서 5권씩 선정하고, 관내 도서관, 학교, 전철역, 행정복지센터 등 64개소에서 길거리 홍보 및 투표판 설치 등을 통해 시민 선호도 조사를 실시하여 최종 후보도서 2권씩 선정했다.
이후 지난 12월 17일 시민선정단과 도서선정위원이 함께 토론을 거쳐 ‘2023 부천의 책’을 최종 선정했다.
부천시는 ‘2023 부천의 책’을 2023년 1월 중에 도서관을 비롯해 학교, 지역아동센터 등에 부천의 책을 비치해 누구나 읽어볼 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
또, 2월 부천의 책 선포식 및 작가와의 만남 북 콘서트를 시작으로 11월까지 부천의 책 독서릴레이, 작가초청 강연회, 찾아가는 독서토론회, 청소년 독서캠프 등 부천의 책을 활용한 다양한 프로그램을 추진할 예정이다.
