과천새마을금고(이사장 한상봉)가 과천시립부림지역아동센터 졸업생들의 새 출발과 자립을 돕기 위해 1,000만원을 기부했다.
지난 2월 21일 신계용 과천시장 집무실에서 열린 기부금 전달식에는 한상봉 과천새마을금고 이사장 등 관계자가 참석했다.
전달된 후원금은 과천시립부림지역아동센터 졸업생 10명의 대학 학비와 기숙사비, 생활비 등으로 쓰일 예정이다.
한상봉 과천새마을금고 이사장은 “우리 청소년들이 건강하게 성장하여 센터를 졸업할 수 있게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다”며, “기부금으로 조금이나마 도움이 될 수 있었으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
신계용 과천시장은 “관내 청년들의 건강한 자립을 위해 노력해주셔서 감사드린다”며, “청년들이 살기 좋은 복지 도시로 자리매김하도록 과천시도 노력하겠다”라고 전했다.
