(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시립별빛마루도서관이 오는 4월 15일 오전 10시 30분부터 12시까지 별빛마루도서관 3층 다목적실에서 4월 도서관 주간을 맞아 저자 특강을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
마루도서관에 따르면, 과학저널리스트 겸 작가인 신성욱 작가는 전)KBS플러스 기획제작부장 및 PD로 ‘KBS스페셜’, ‘생로병사의 비밀’ 등 60여 편의 다큐멘터리 제작 KBS특집 다큐멘터리 ‘2부작 읽기혁명’ 기획 및 연출을 한 바 있으며 현재는 북스타트코리아 상임위원으로 재직 중이며 주요 저서로는 ‘뇌가 좋은 아이’(2010), ‘한국의 신문, 방송에 등장하는 우뇌연구’(2012), ‘조급한 부모가 아이 뇌를 망친다’(2014)가 있다.
또, 읽기(독서)와 뇌발달, 아이 뇌와 창의성, 뇌과학이 알려 준 아이에 대한 새로운 생각 등의 주제로 시·도 교육청, 교육연수원, 도서관 등 공공기관에서 1,900여 회의 강연을 펼쳤다.
별빛마루도서관에서 진행하는 특강은 뇌 발달과 부모의 역할에 관한 내용이며 읽기와 이야기가 아이들의 뇌 발달에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 아이들을 위한 바람직한 독서교육을 과학적인 시선으로 알려줄 예정이다.
