3월30일 저녁, 서울시 종로구 낙원동에서 장수익 제주도 서귀포방송의 발행인을 만났다. 서울에서 발행되는 일간신문에서 은퇴한 이후, 5년 전부터 이 방송을 창립, 이끌어왔다.
