‘가족과 함께하는 벽화 그리기’ 봉사활동이 지난 10일 있었다.
한국타이어는 이날 대전시 대덕구 대덕종합사회복지관에서 ‘벽화 그리기’ 임직원 봉사활동을 전개했다.
밀알복지재단과 함께하는 ‘벽화 그리기’는 한국타이어 임직원과 가족들이 직접 참여해 지역사회 내 평범한 담장을 거리의 미술관으로 탈바꿈 시키는 봉사활동이다.
이번 봉사활동에는 50여 명의 봉사자들은 참여해 대덕종합사회복지관과 덕암동 행정주민센터 사이를 연결하는 통로에 밑그림 그리기와 채색 등의 작업을 진행했다.
작업으로 밋밋했던 담장이 점차 밝고 예쁜 그림으로 가득 채워지며 거리의 작은 미술관으로 탈바꿈됐다.
한국타이어측 관계자는 벽화 그리기를 통해 인근 지역민들에게 다양한 볼거리를 제공하고 쾌적한 도심 환경 조성,사회복지시설에 대한 사회적 인식 개선 등에 기여할 것으로 기대했다.
한편, 한국타이어는 ‘벽화 그리기’를 비롯해 ‘목소리 나눔’, ‘우리들의 숲 조성’ 등 임직원 및 가족 참여형 사회공헌 프로그램을 이어나가며 지역사회와 진정성 있는 나눔과 상생의 가치 실현에 적극 앞장선다는 계획이다
