(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 오는 7월 5일까지 문화콘텐츠 분야 혁신 스타트업을 발굴하고 유치· 육성하기 위한‘제2회 부천 문화콘텐츠 스타트업 공모전’참가 기업을 접수한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 공모전에서는 대상 1개사 1억원, 최우수상 2개사 각 4천만원 등 총 2억4천5백만 원의 상금 및 사업화 지원금을 지급하며, 우수상 수상 이상의 5개 기업에는 오는 9월 부천시 상동에 개관 예정인 웹툰융합센터 내 사무공간 입주 혜택 등이 제공된다.
또, 선발된 총 10개 내외의 혁신 스타트업들에 벤처투자사가 담임멘토로 진행하는 투자유치 멘토링 프로그램과 비즈니스 고도화를 위한 전문가 컨설팅이 지원될 예정이다.
공모 신청대상은 공고일 기준으로 법인 설립 7년 이내 스타트업으로 영화, 게임, 웹툰 등 콘텐츠 장르 산업을 비롯하여 증강현실(AR), 가상현실(VR), 인공지능(AI), 사물인터넷(IoT) 등 콘텐츠 분야와 정보통신산업 혁신기술의 융합을 도모하는 콘텐츠 기반 창업기업이다.
공모접수가 완료되는 7월 5일 이후 서류평가, 발표평가, 인터뷰를 거쳐 7월 말에 최종 수상기업들을 선정할 예정이다.
선정기업 지원조건은 웹툰융합센터로 사업장 이전 또는 지사 설립 필수이며, 부천시로 본사를 이전하는 기업은 우선 선정된다.

또한, 부천시가 오는 7월 9일까지 레드아이스 스튜디오와 공동 개최하는 ‘제2회 모든 웹툰 공모전’ 참가 작품을 접수한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 총상금 1억 1천만 원이 수여되는 이번 공모전에서는 대상 수상작 2편에 각 2,000만 원의 지원금과 네이버웹툰 연재를 보장하며, 최우수상 3편 각 1,000만 원, 우수상 5편 각 600만 원, 장려상 10편 각 100만 원의 상금과 창작지원금을 시상한다.
공모전 접수는 지난 19일부터 오는 7월 9일까지이며 만 15세 이상, 신인 및 기성 작가, 개인 또는 팀(스튜디오) 제한 없이 누구나 지원할 수 있다.
