부천시에 따르면, 이번 기념카드는 부천시 50주년을 홍보하고 시민과 함께 축하하는 분위기를 조성하기 위해 부천시 대표 캐릭터 ‘부천핸썹’이 시 승격 50주년을 축하하는 이미지로 제작됐다.
해당 카드는 오는 7월 1일부터 신규·재발급하는 경우 경기지역화폐 앱을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
신규 발급 시, NH농협은행 부천시청출장소(길주로 210(중동) 또는 NH농협은행 부천시지부(소향로 217(중동))에서도 신청할 수 있으나 단, 기념카드는 한정판 제작으로 카드 소진상황에 따라 발급이 조기 종료될 수 있다.
