인공지능(AI) 대화로봇(챗봇)인 챗지피티는 메신저에 채팅을 하듯 질문을 입력하면, 빅데이터를 분석해 사람과 대화하듯 답을 해주는 시스템이다.
세종시가 이러한 초거대 생성형 인공지능(AI) 서비스인 ‘챗지피티(GPT)’를 행정업무에 적용해 업무 처리 방식의 전환을 시도한다.
‘챗지피티(GPT)’는 기업뿐만 아니라 행정업무 등 다양한 영역에서 활용이 가능하다.
앞서 최민호 시장은 지난달 5일 디지털 역량 강화를 통한 ‘지능형 미래전략수도’ 조성을 목표로 “챗지피티 등을 행정업무에 적용하고 이에 따른 공직자 역량강화에 나서야 한다”고 지시한 바 있다.
이를 위해 세종시는 지난달 22일 이수안 세명대 교수를 초빙해 150여명의 직원을 대상으로 ‘공공데이터 이해 및 챗지피티(GPT) 활용 방안’을 교육했다.
또한 공직자 능력 향상을 위해 오는 8월 직원 소통의날 행사에 전문강사를 초빙해 ‘챗지피티특강’을 열고, 신규 공무원 필수 교육과정 등도 마련할 계획이다.
세종시는 챗지피티가 업무에 활용되면 인력으로 수집하기 어려운 방대한 데이터를 이용할 수 있어, 기획보고서, 보도자료 등을 보다 손쉽게 작성할 수 있을 것으로 보고 있다.
또한 언어번역, 신규 아이디어 발굴 등 다방면에서 챗지피티를 활용해 반복 업무에 소요되는 시간을 단축시켜 행정서비스의 질을 한 단계 높일 수 있을 것으로 전망하고 있다.
