㈔세계여성평화그룹 대전지부(IWPG, 지부장 조백리)가 지난 15일 대전 유성문화원에서 ‘평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회’ 수상작을 공개했다.
시상식을 겸해 공개된 작품은 제5회 ‘평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회’ 에서 예선을 통과한 초·중·고 부문별 1등, 2등, 3등, 장려상, 특별상, 입선 등 52명의 작품들이다.
앞서 ㈔세계여성평화그룹 대전지부는 지난 24일 국립 대전현충원에서 ‘자연에서 배우는 평화세상’이라는 주제로 예선대회를 가졌다.
대전지역 초·중·고 학생과 학부모 등 약 250여 명이 참가한 이날 그림대회에서 미래를 선도할 어린 인재들이 한자리에 모여 그림 실력을 뽐냈다.
수상작 52점 가운데 3점은 전국에서 출품한 작품과 겨뤄 한국을 대표하는 작품으로 선정되며, 세계 각국에서 IWPG 본부로 보내온 1등 수상작들과 본선대회를 치루게 된다.
본선에서 우수작으로 뽑힌 작품들에 대한 시상식은 11월에 개최될 예정이다.
앞서 열린 시상식에서 조백리 대전지부장은 “평화를 이룰 수 있는 방법을 배우고, 앞으로 다가올 평화세계의 모습을 그림으로 표현했다"며 "이번 대회를 통해 대전 뿐 아니라 지구촌까지도 아름다운 평화 세상이 되리라 확신한다.”고 말했다.
