(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 4일, 최근 ‘부천시사’를 발간하고 이를 기념하기 위해 지난 1일 부천시립박물관에서 발간기념식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번에 발간된 ‘부천시사’는 지난 2002년 ‘부천시사’ 이후 약 20년 만에 발간된 시사로, 올해 시 승격 50주년을 맞아 부천시의 역사를 집대성했다.
전3권, 부록1권으로 구성된 ‘2023년 부천시사’는 역사학, 도시학, 종교학 등 다양한 분야의 전문가가 집필진으로 참여해 근현대 부천의 탄생부터 성장, 부천시로의 승격과 발전과정을 다뤘ek.
또, 부천시의 정체성이라고 할 수 있는 ‘문화’를 별도로 다뤄 상세하게 소개했다.
이와 함께 ‘사진으로 보는 부천 50년’을 부록으로 출간해 부천의 과거와 현재의 발전상을 누구나 쉽게 알 수 있도록 기획했다.
이 밖에도 이번 시사에 담긴 부천시 역사자료는 사료로서의 가치를 높이고 향후 시정콘텐츠 및 부천사 연구의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있게 데이터베이스 형태로 정리했다.
