파주소방서와 서영대학교는 지난 11일 파주소방서장 및 서영대학교 부총장이 참석한 가운데 파주시 화재예방·재해방지 등 제반 안전을 위하여 상호 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 업무협약은 상호간의 인적·물적 네트워크 구성을 통한 소방지식과 정보를 교환하여 각종 재난발생 시 신속한 대응능력을 향상하고 지역 내 우수한 소방인력을 양성하고자 마련되었으며, 특히 2024학년도부터는 파주캠퍼스에서도 응급구조과가 신설될 예정이다.
