이번 기부를 통해 고양소방서는 소방차 통행불가지역과 전통시장, 주거밀집지역 등에 ‘보이는 소화기’ 50개를 확대 설치해 올해 총 69개의 보이는 소화기를 설치·관리하게 된다.
기부금 전달식에 참여한 고양동부새마을금고 김재수 이사장은 “지역사회의 안전 환경 조성에 도움이 되어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 소방서와 협력체계를 유지하여 사회 안전망이 더욱 강화되기를 바란다”라고 소감을 전했다.
