브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 네오플은 루게릭병 등 중증근육성 희귀질환 전문요양병원 건립을 위해 총 20억 원의 기부금을 재단법인 승일희망재단에 지원한다고 13일 밝혔다.
국내 최초로 건립되는 전문요양병원은 중증근육성 희귀질환 환우에게 맞춤 의료 및 돌봄 서비스를 제공하는 시설이다. 2024년 12월 개원을 목표로 경기도 용인시에 건립되며, 연면적 4995㎡(약 1511평)에 지하 2층, 지상 4층 규모로, 약 76개 병상과 재활치료시설을 갖추게 된다.
기부금은 전문요양병원의 건축 비용과 개원 후 안정적인 운영을 위한 인건비 및 운영비로 사용될 예정이다.
