【브레이크뉴스 울릉】전종환 기자=경북 울릉군 새마을부녀회가 19일 떡국 나눔 행사를 개최했다.
연말연시를 맞아 소외된 지역 이웃과 정을 나누기 위해 실시한 이번 행사에서는 떡국 떡, 소고기 등을 포장해 읍면별 저소득 가구와 독거노인 등 도움이 필요한 이웃 150여 가구에 전달됐다.
박명숙 부녀회장은 “함게 찬여한 30여명의 부녀회원들에게 감사드린다”며“추운 겨울을 맞이하는 이웃 주민들이 따뜻한 새해를 맞이 하는데 작은 도움이 되길 바라는 마음”이라고 말했다.
남한권 울릉군수는“추운 날씨에도 불구하고 도움이 필요한 이웃을 위해 봉사활동을 해주신 회원분들게 감사하다. 작은 정성이지만 받는 사람 모두가 새해에는 건강하고 따뜻한 한해가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
