유진기업은 지난 21일 사회복지공동모금회 서울특별시지회에서 도움이 필요한 이웃들을 위한 기부금 863만원을 전달하는 기부금 전달식을 가졌다고 22일 밝혔다.
유진기업은 지난달 임직원들과 레미콘 운송사업들을 대상으로 ‘불우이웃 돕기 바자회’를 진행해 기부금 모금에 나섰다. 이번 바자회는 유진기업에서 물품을 마련한 뒤 임직원 및 레미콘 운송사업자들이 물품 구매 시 정해진 가격 없이 원하는 가격에 구매할 수 있게 했다.
모금된 기금은 사회복지공동모금회 서울특별시지회를 통해 서울특별시 어린이병원의 저소득층 환자를 위해 사용될 예정이다.
유진기업 관계자는 “기업 내 기부문화 정착 및 임직원들의 적극적인 참여를 유도하기 위해 바자회형식의 모금을 통한 기부를 결정하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 도움이 필요한 이웃들을 위한 활동을 지속 선보일 것이다”고 전했다.
