한국예총 과천지회, 이웃돕기 성금 100만원 기부

한국예총 과천지회(회장 조월신, 이하 과천예총)가 지난 1월 4일 과천시장 집무실에서 과천시에 이웃돕기 성금 1백만원을 전달했다.

전달식에는 조월신 과천예총 회장을 비롯한 협회 산하 지부장이 참석했다.

과천예총 회원들이 십시일반 모은 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 저소득층 주민들을 위해 사용될 예정이다.

조월신 회장은 “어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있기를 바라는 마음으로 성금을 모았다”라고 기부 취지를 밝혔다.

신계용 과천시장은 “추운 겨울을 보내고 있는 어려운 이웃을 위해 나눔을 실천해줘서 감사하며 새해도 따듯하게 보낼 수 있도록 시에서 계속 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.

Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Gwacheon Branch donates 1 million won to help neighbors

The Gwacheon Branch of the Korean Federation of Arts (Chairman Cho Wol-shin, hereinafter referred to as the Gwacheon Federation of Arts) delivered 1 million won in donations to Gwacheon City to help neighbors at the Gwacheon Mayor's office on January 4th.

The handover ceremony was attended by Cho Wol-sin, president of the Gwacheon Arts Federation, and heads of branches under the association.

The donations raised by Gwacheon Arts Council members will be used for low-income residents in the area through the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.
