시군 특화 맞춤형 일자리 지원 사업은 지역에 맞는 일자리 사업을 발굴해 양질의 고용기회를 제공하는 내용이다.
사업유형은 교육훈련, 취업연계, 시·군 간 컨소시엄 등의 일반사업과 신중년 고용지원 사업 2가지로 나뉜다.
중소기업은 최대 3명까지 인당 월 70만원을, 소상공인은 최대 2명까지 월 50만원을 지원한다.
한편 시는 지난해 신중년 고용사업을 수행한 결과 34개 업체에 42명, 2억4000만 원의 인건비를 지원했다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “앞서 중년층에 대한 일자리 지원 정책은 청년층에 비해 상대적으로 부족했다”며 “앞으로 신중년의 전문성을 바탕으로 이들이 노동시장에서 중추적인 역할을 할 수 있도록 다양한 일자리 정책을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 말했다.
